Get more from your toner
Just a quick tip today. Do you have a laser printer at home, or does your place of work have one? Most printers will warn you when the toner cartridge needs to be replaced. However, if you take the cartridge out, give it a gentle shake to settle the contents and then replace it back into the printer, you should get a few more pages out of it, reducing waste.Once the toner has completely died, make sure it gets recycled.

In addition, you can turn your density setting down when using text which will use less toner. If you are printing graphics then make the adjustment back up for the final copy printing. I always use mine till it leaves white or blank areas on the page, that way I am certain it is out. I am in the toner recycling business and I still use every last gram of toner I can to conserve.
